The England Cricket Board, England Hockey and England Netball have collaborated to launch a three-year campaign to maximise the legacy of hosting three consecutive World Cups and build a fan base for women’s team sports. They have an ambitious target to ensure all 7-13-year-old girls across the country have the opportunity to experience the benefits of team sport. One of the players who is helping to promote this initiative is England cricketing all rounder Georgia Elwiss. Georgia made her international debut for England in 2011. Having featured in the 2016 World Twenty20, she was named as the captain of Loughborough Lighting in the inaugural Kia Super League.
